Overview
Welcome to my practice!
I’m a registered psychologist offering therapy in both English and Turkish to adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds. I work relationally and psychodynamically — meaning I support you to explore how your past experiences and relationships shape how you feel, connect, and live today.
In my view, all our relationships — including the one with our body and with food — are part of an emotional chain. Therapy can help make sense of these patterns and offer space for change, healing, and choice.
I’ve worked across different clinical settings, including Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust (Ferryview Health Centre), La Paix French Hospital, and IMECE Women’s Centre, where I currently support women affected by domestic violence and migration. I now see clients both online and in person through my private practice.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical and Community Psychology and a BA in Psychology, with further training from UC Berkeley, Tavistock and Portman, and the Mindfulness Institute.
Areas I work with include:
– Eating disorders and body image
– Trauma and post-traumatic stress
– Depression and anxiety
– Immigration, identity and belonging
– Emotional regulation and self-worth
I also facilitate group support spaces for parents and adolescents.
If you’re thinking about starting therapy, I’d be happy to hear from you!
