Overview
Support for Disordered Eating
In therapy with me, you will learn three important things:
– Why you cannot stop yourself from eating.
– How emotions like anxiety, shame, and frustration trigger your eating.
– How to kick-start your recovery.
Many people struggling with disordered eating feel trapped in cycles of comfort eating, bingeing, or restrictive patterns. My approach is designed to help you understand yourself, develop self-compassion, and change habits in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming.
We focus on:
✅ Recognising emotional triggers – so you can respond differently.
✅ Shifting behaviours – with practical, achievable steps that create lasting change.
✅ Developing self-control – in a way that excites you rather than feels like a chore.
In our work together, you will gain new insights into your challenges and a fresh set of strategies to support you in treating yourself better—both emotionally and physically.
I also explore topics related to disordered eating, emotional wellbeing, and recovery on my podcast, where I share insights, practical tools, and expert discussions to support your healing journey. ‘The Stress & Anxiety Recovery Podcast’ on all your favourite podcast channels.
If you’re ready to step into a new way of relating to food and yourself, I’m here to help.
