Q: Who can join Tredd as a practitioner member?

We welcome any accredited professional or organisation with direct experience working with eating disorders.

Q: How will I know if my application to join has been successful?

Our application form is designed to capture information which will help you to feel confident that your experience and specialism is suitable for the Tredd directory.

Once you complete the application form and make your membership payment, a member of the Tredd team will review your form to ensure your accreditation is correct and your specialism is suitable. You will then receive email confirmation that your membership is approved.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to accept your membership, your payment will be refunded in full and we will be in touch to explain why we aren’t able to move forward with your membership at this time.

Q: How will I upload my listing information to the directory?

The information you provide in your application form will be uploaded to the Tredd directory once your membership application has been approved. Please ensure that you are happy with the information you submit on the form, as this will be the text, imagery and detail which is used to create your Tredd directory listing. You can preview and edit the page before submitting the application (don’t be alarmed that your photo may look cropped – it’ll look great once published). If you have any questions about this, you can get in touch with us at info@tredd.org.uk and we will be happy to help.

Q: Can I cancel my membership?

Initial membership terms run for one or two years, depending on which type of membership you originally chose. Should you wish to do so, you will be able to cancel your membership after the initial term by getting in touch with us at admin@tredd.org.uk. We are unable to offer refunds on our membership fees.

Q: Can I pause my membership?

We understand that there may be times when you put your practice on hold or take a break from offering treatment. In these instances, please get in touch with us at admin@tredd.org.uk and we can arrange to suspend your listing for an agreed amount of time.

Q: How will potential patients get in touch with me?

When someone searches for a practitioner on Tredd, they are shown all relevant members in their area. They can filter by region and treatment category and will be able to visit your individual listing to understand how you can help. Your contact information will be prominently positioned on the listing to allow them to contact you directly.

Q: How can I renew my membership?

A month before your listing is due to expire, a member of the Tredd team will be in touch on how to make your renewal membership payment. We very much hope you will have found the directory helpful in connecting you with both those needing support and also fellow specialists in the community, and you will wish to continue to showcase your experience with Tredd.
